13-Year-Old Child is Victim of Homicide
On November 20, 2021 at approximately 6:12 p.m., officers from the Pasadena Police Department responded to a residence in the 900 block of N. Raymond Avenue regarding a victim who had been struck by gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located a 13-year-old male resident of Pasadena suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was unresponsive and officers immediately began providing emergency, lifesaving medical care. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Pasadena Fire Department paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased by the hospital’s medical staff. Detectives from the Pasadena Police Department’s Robbery / Homicide Unit responded to the crime scene to commence immediate follow-up investigation. This investigation is active and ongoing. The suspect(s) and motive are unknown at this time and investigators are attempting to determine the identity of the intended target(s). Further details will be provided as they become available.
