The Pasadena-Altadena (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated in partnership with the Pasadena Altadena Community Endowment Fund (PACEF), is pleased to announce the 2021 Scholarship Awards.
Local high school seniors and continuing college students were awarded a total of $32,500 in privately donated financial aid, as part of the organization’s Isaac McClelland Memorial Scholarship Program which was established in 1969. The $32,500 also includes Special awards given by PACEF. Due to observance of social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 Pandemic, our scholars were awarded at a virtual reception with Links’ Chapter leadership and members, along with the students’ immediate families. These scholarship awards are provided to qualified and deserving students from Pasadena public schools. The award ceremony for scholarships gave the recipients an opportunity to share their goals, dreams, and special thanks. At this year’s virtual ceremony, it was a great honor and privilege to award over $30,000 to some of the best and brightest young men and women of the Pasadena Unified School District’s Class of 2021 and to recognize the outstanding educators who influenced these scholars during this, a most challenging school year!
