National Rx Take Back Day at the Pasadena Police Department 10/21/21
Drug Enforcement Administration’s campaign for the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday October 23, 2021. The Pasadena Police Department is proud to announce our participation in partnership with Day One and the Pasadena Public Health Department. National Prescription Take Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs free of charge. The event will take place on Saturday October 23, 2021 between the hours of 10:00AM and 2:00PM, at the front steps of the Pasadena Police Department located at 207 N. Garfield Avenue. Representatives from the Pasadena Police Department, Day One and the Pasadena Public Health Department will be on site to assist with the process and answer any questions. Disposing of prescription drugs safely is the best way to prevent misuse and abuse, which occurs when someone takes a prescription drug in a manner that is different than how it was prescribed. Remember to avoid disposing of medications at home, drop them off at a safe and secure location on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Keep in mind, needles or sharps of any kind are not accepted at this event. If you are unable to drop off your unwanted prescription drugs at our location, you can visit DEATakeBack.com for additional locations near you. |
