Math, Science and Special Education Teachers Sought; Non-Teaching Positions Open
The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), in partnership with the City of Pasadena, will host a job fair on Saturday, March 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Pasadena's City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101. The District is seeking Math, Science and Speech and Language teachers to be part of the team that is raising achievement at Pasadena-area public schools. PUSD is also recruiting for non-teaching positions such as office and maintenance workers.
"We are looking for smart, committed employees who want to be part of a dynamic school team," said Superintendent Edwin Diaz. "Even during these tough economic times, we are hiring teachers who share our vision of breakthrough results and academic excellence for all students."
The Pasadena Unified School District offers competitive salaries and benefits, strong new teacher support programs and broad community support.
While most openings are for "certificated" positions that require a college degree and a California teaching credential, a limited number of "classified," or non-teaching positions are also available.
