Networking and Social Events Promote Local Business, Provide Opportunity

Pasadena, CA – Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is hosting several events and activities in June to promote networking, enhance the ability of members to communicate with each other and do business and simply socialize.

Chamber members are invited to attend events each month. Members get a discount on entry and meal costs as a membership benefit. Celebrate Oktoberfest in June as Volkswagen Pasadena Hosts Our After-Hours Social and Mixer

Volkswagen Pasadena celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a traditional beer and brats Oktoberfest celebration. Join the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce for our June After-Hours Social and Mixer at Volkswagen Volkswagen Pasadena at 130 North Sierra Madre Boulevard in Pasadena. Enjoy beer, brats and more, all compliments of Volkswagen Pasadena on June 17th at 5:00 p.m. Admission is free for Pasadena Chamber members. Non-members pay $10 to enter. Our friends at Volkswagen Pasadena are providing the beer, brats and entertainment.

Young Professionals of Pasadena

The Young Professionals of Pasadena group will meet for happy hour, hors d'oeuvres and fun at Clearman's Northwoods Inn at Rosemead Boulevard and Huntington Drive in San Gabriel on Thursday evening, June 24th at 7:00 p.m. Young Professionals of Pasadena is an informal group of working people between the ages of 21 and 40 who get together on the fourth Thursday or each month for activities, networking and fun. There is no cost to join and Chamber membership, while encouraged, is not required. The Chamber and ResultWorx Technology Group host Technology Tuesday on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the University Club. Technology Tuesday programs are offered FREE. Join us on Tuesday, June 15th at 9:00 a.m. at the University Club in Pasadena, Jim Locke of ResultWorx Technology Group discusses Working Remotely: Set up, security and more. Art of Small Business Survival

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Foothill Workforce Investment Board and the Economic Development Department of the City of Pasadena host a series of free workshops: The Art of Small Business Survival. A wide variety of topics are covered over the course of the series. Presentations by experts in various aspects of business management, resources, marketing and other aspects of starting or running a business will present information. Continental breakfast is served. These workshops are free, but registration is required.

The Annual Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Gala will be held on Friday, July 10th in the Grand ballroom of the new Pasadena Convention Center. The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association is a professional business organization. Since the earliest days of Pasadena, the Chamber has played a major role in the development of this internationally renowned city. Since 1888, when the organization was founded as the Board of Trade, the Chamber's primary purpose has been the enhancement of both the business climate and the quality of life in Pasadena.
