A source told the magazine that the couple are spending time together at rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs' home on Star Island near Miami Beach. "They're together again. They care for each other," the source said. "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves." The reconciliation comes as no surprise as Brown has been trying hard to win his girlfriend back, showering Rihanna with gifts for her 21st birthday on February 20. He reportedly called Rihanna to wish her a happy 21st birthday and sent her a diamond bracelet, necklace and iPod Touch. A source told the magazine, "They've reached out to each other. It's been mutual." A source told New York Daily News that despite Rihanna's friends being against the reunion, the singer was feeling lonely without Brown and was considering taking him back. 19-year-old Brown was booked by LAPD for making criminal threats but the case has not yet been presented to the District Attorney, who will ultimately determine which charges, if any, will be prosecuted.
He has been charged with making criminal threats, is currently on a US $50,000 bail and is set to appear in court on March 5 to face charges.
Reports, however, are claiming that chances are, Brown will not be further charged and will not do any jail time.
Learning that his daughter and Chris Brown have reconciled, Rihanna's father says he supports the singer in her decisions.
"Whatever road she chooses, I'm behind her," said Ronald Fenty, when reached by telephone in Barbados. Fenty took the reunion in stride Saturday, as he worked selling novelty items on a street corner in downtown Bridgetown. He says he hasn't spoken to his daughter since earlier this month, for her 21st birthday, and only found out about the reconciliation through the media.
"We are a family who stick together even though we are apart," he tells PEOPLE.
Chris on the Tyra Banks Show admitted how he watched his step father beat his mother. He went through extensive explanation of how it made him feel and how he would never do the same. In view of his behavior toward Rhianna, he should seek treatent, as does Rhianna for battered womans syndrome.
