Jazzy Jam Board

On behalf of Jazzy Jam Board of Directors and Advisory Board, THANK YOU to contributing to the success of 2010 Jazzy Jam Pasadena!

Whether the task was large or small, countless volunteers and supporters stepped forward to contribute to the success of the event. The passion and dedication of the volunteer team was inspiring and I cannot wait to put on another great family event to benefit arts education for youth.

My deep heartfelt gratitude to our volunteer production team, the Advisory Board, CouncilwomanJacque Robinson and especially to Jaylene Moseley of the Flintridge Center for helping the vision of bringing Jazz to our young people a reality. Thanks to the Jazzy Jam Music Clinic participants Lalah Hathaway, Noland Shaheed, Roscoe Owens, Donn Wyatt, Louis Van Taylor, Stephen Fostor, and Principal Sheryl Orange of John Muir High School. Thanks to the great talent: Host Bubba Jackson, John Muir Jazz Ensemble, Rapid Response, Janis Mann, Mike Gurrola, Cartaya's Enclave featuring Justo Almario, Rebecca Crews, Kenneth Crouch, Ron Brown , Donn Wyatt, and Karen Briggs. And last but not least, our wonderful supporters and sponsors: City of Pasadena, Citizens Bank, Pasadena Play House, Pasadena Water and Power, CTA, IDS, Pasadena Journal, Pasadena Magazine, Rose Bowl Stadium, City of San Marino, DD's Chick & Cat Shack, I Am God Created, and KPAS.

Margaret Mead once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Thank you for helping bring music to our youth and families! Looking forward to working with you on Jazzy Jam 2011!
