People Are Talking About...

(Pasadena, CA) Many job announcements are listed: "Spanish Language Preferred".   Does this bilingual requirement give an edge to Latinos? Since Spanish is not taught mandatorily in schools, it smells of discrimination in favor of Latinos. People are concerned.

If job seekers are being required to speak a foreign language to get a job in an English speaking country, why isn't Spanish required to be taught in the schools?
