Each year the goal is to elevate the level of talent, with that in mind, one of the hottest Jazz bands in Southern California (Jazz Zone) will be performing live, outside from 1pm - 2pm, to kick off this year's benefit. There will also be food tasting provided by the fine culinary skills of Melody's soul food restaurant. The doors to the auditorium will open at 2pm The show is from 2:30pm to 5pm.

The director of the show, Mr. Melvin Martin, stated, "Without a shadow of a doubt, our audience will receive the best show in our history."
