Black Writers on Tour 2009 Writer’s Conference

Black Writers on Tour, Three-Day Writers' Conference will be held at the Los

Angeles Convention Center,1201 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, California, Friday and Saturday, May 1st & 2nd, 2009 from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 3rd, 2009 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. FREE general admission. Black Writers On Tour is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that trains, educates, and motivates children, young adults, and adult Black writers. We promote and assist authors in their careers. Our focus is to increase literary awareness and participation in the Literary Arts for African-Americans. We will assist in the preservation of African-American culture via helping African-Americans tell their stories.

This is a history making event. This year will be the largest ever. In the Obama's spirit of oneness and togetherness, Black Writers on Tour and the Los Angeles Black Business Expo lock hands together to bring to Los Angeles a "Talk Of The Town" unforgettable event.
