Los Angeles, CA - California Assemblymember Anthony Portantino and City of Hope are teaming up with fashion designer and HIV activist Mondo Guerra for the "Sixth Annual HIV/AIDS Action Summit" on September 12 at City of Hope.
Hundreds of high school and college students as well as HIV activists are expected to be on hand when Mondo Guerra discusses his experience living with the disease. His creative designs led to his winning Project Runway All Stars and his courageous story living with HIV has inspired legions of fans across the country.
Featuring the launch of "I'm Here Because . . . advocacy for a new generation" and workshops including the "Changing Face of HIV".
