PLEASE TAKE NOTICE of the following General Membership meetings of the Altadena California Branch, NAACP and the election of officers and members of the executive committee.
1. On September 20, 2012 at the Altadena Community Center, 720 E. Altadena Dr. at 7:00 p.m., the election of the Nominating Committee will take place. Members whose memberships are current as of thirty (30) days prior to the meeting date may be elected to the Nominating Committee.
2. On October 11, 2012 at the Altadena Community Center, 720 E. Altadena Dr. at 7:00 p.m. Report of the Nominating Committee, Nominations by Petition, and Election of the Election Supervisory Committee will take place. Members whose memberships are current as of thirty (30) days prior to the meeting may be nominated for the Executive Committee. Members seeking to hold Office must have held membership 180 days prior to nomination. In order to sign a nominating petition, or be elected to the Election Supervisory Committee, a member must be current as of thirty (30) days prior to the October meeting. All members seeking to hold office must reside or work within the Branch jurisdiction.
3. On November 8, 2012 Election of Officers will take place at the Altadena Community Center, 720 E. Altadena Drive, Altadena California. Polls open from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
