Pastor Lucious Smith of Friendship Baptist Church is speaking at 11:00 a.m. on "Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Healthy Spirit."
Pastor Lucious Smith has been the minister at Friendship Baptist Church in Pasadena since 1996. Throughout his ministry, he has sought to keep the ministries of the church relevant with a contemporary application of the Gospel message. Pastor Smith is committed to a biblical expository ministry and delivers sermons that prove to be "portable", enabling those who hear them to take what they have heard and apply the principles to their everyday lives.
At Health Summit 2012, Pastor Smith will bring his ministerial aptitude to the event as he shares his health story on how he is overcoming his battle with cancer. He will elaborate on the importance of being faithful when diseases like cancer strike, but also highlight the other things that we can do to take control of the battle.
