A Day in the Life

This week marked the first finished week of school for me. With only two days of school for the first week I quickly realized I had a lot more this year than any of the other years. My first day of school started out like all the other first days. A gloomy depressing cold summer day (despite it being summer) was the type of day that I was presented with when I came to school.

I was dressed nice and came up to the school with shining confidence and a clear view of what grades I was going to get. Unfortunately though that all changed when I came into my AP English class. As soon as I went inside I immediately lost all manner and form of confidence of ever enjoying that class. From the huge summer packet to the essay immediately due the next class, I was amazed at the seriousness of the teacher. After that class I was surprised to know that I and my other junior friends now have possession of our own table up front.

Being a junior comes with various privileges as well. For instance, freshmen and sophomores must move to the side when juniors and seniors walk up to the line.

The rest of my classes were pretty hard as well.

Tip of the Week

Despite how organized you believe you are, you would be even more if you had a planner with you. If I could do freshman and sophmore year over (which I really wish I could), I would have made sure I wrote everything down in a planner. Believe me when I say that it makes school life infinitely more manageable. For those of you who got the hang of it freshman year, I commend you. For those who didn't, I scold.

App of the Week

This week's app of the week is for music lovers everywhere. Recently I discovered that every year iTunes has a festival that features new and old artists that all perform through the months of August and September. The app is free and well worth It for you penny pinchers out there. The best thing about this app is that you can either stream the performances live from your iPhone, laptop, or iPad or watch the full performance on your device even if they are already finished. For music lovers everywhere, I'm here to tell you, you all OWE ME!

Question of the Day

Forget about my week, I wanna hear about yours. How are your classes so far this year? Too much or to little? Don't be shy write away! Just don't write an essay, I do have other things to do.
