Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
As the economy becomes more unstable, global war rages and life seems to be uncertain it is imperative we remember that God is absolutely still in control. No matter what we are going through we are completely victorious in Christ. Stand steadfast and decide today that your trust in him is absolute and your triumph is certain.
The Bible decrees in Romans 8:37 that, "We are more than conquerors through him that loved us . . . " which signifies that we conquer many times over, not just once. To conquer means, "To acquire by force." Matthew 11:12 documents, "From the days of John until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force." The kingdom of God is a pressing into and requires energy and persistence on our part, therefore to live a life of defeat is a personal choice and is far below our kingdom privilege because we have been seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We have been given by the blood power over all the power of the enemy and our opponents defeat is decisive. We have received the spirit of adoption where by we can call God father and partake of his divine nature. And God by his nature alone denotes that He is a refuge, a fortress, the Lord of host, the captain of the army, our victory, our banner and a bulwark that never fails. Be tenacious and document your victories in God because as the challenges of life continue to come what God has done can fade to black and we lose faith that the eternal God is valiant and mighty in battle.
