"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12)
You messed up and caused the church musical to be a flop!
You cursed someone out before you could make your mouth stop!
You blamed a stranger for stealing your cash!
Come to fi nd out, a family member actually took your last!
You pretended to be someone else with a picture ID!
Just so you could be in the arena when your team won the trophy!
Even Christians slip up and sin on things big and small!
It's imperative that you confess your sins the way our faith tells us all!
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (John 1:9)
Dear Pastor Glovioell,
I got a letter one day that was written. It was calling me all kinds of "B's' and 'Ho's."
I tracked it down through my sources and everybody said it was Sue.
I murdered her reputation with my tongue. Some of our people cut all ties with her.
A couple of years later she got sick and died. We were still hating on her. We did not support her with visits or calls and did not go to her funeral.
A few months later, this other chick confesses that she was the one that wrote those 'jacked up letters!' D_ _ _ _! I put my girl Sue in the grave! I was tore up. I know Christ. I asked his forgiveness.
I know in my mind I am forgiven. It doesn't help! I feel persecuted in my heart all the time.
Wounded by my Grief
Dear Wounded By My Grief,
The blood of Jesus covers your sin.
Cast the 'negative thoughts' out of your heart and mind, my friend
Do this each time the condemning feelings enter in!
Resist the thoughts in the 'name of Jesus' and see the renewed mind begin!
"For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." (1 John
