The Place For Prayer

Hello, this is Dr. Rosie, "AND I AM JUST SAYING" . . .

A friend called me today to discuss the recent shooting. She made this statement, " All these things are happening because they took prayer out of the school." She then asked, "What do you think about what I just said." My reply was this," There is no law that prohibit people from praying at home and there is no praying going on in most homes.

Many children and spouses only hear a prayer coming from the lips of their parent or spouse when they are praying at church---what a shame.

If every parent, teacher and child would get a prayer life daily, it would not matter if there was no prayer in the school and students would do better in school. They would be more respectful and the teacher would do a better job because they would do their work as if doing it for the Lord.

Teach your children to pray and let them hear you pray at home and with them and for them. Stop being so busy and stop and pray over your children before they leave home every day. Teach them to talk to God sometime when they are not asking Him for something.
