Ceremony Tomorrow Marks Completion of Gold Line Bridge, First Element of the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension from Pasadena to Azusa
With the ceremony marking the completion of the Gold Line Bridge tomorrow, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) released the following statement:
"It's fantastic that the Gold Line Bridge is not only on time, but also on budget. The iconic bridge will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the region. The completion of this project is an important step in the expansion of the Gold Line to the San Gabriel Valley, which will provide a reliable and efficient source of transportation to residents, reduce traffic congestion and improve our air quality.
"While today's bridge opening is just a first step, I'm very hopeful that the Gold Line will continue to be successful and become the pride of the San Gabriel Valley."
