Pasadena Public Library will hold a series of workshops for children inspired by an illustration studio at the Art Center which focused on the creation of illustrated children's books as viable vehicles for anti-gun messages for children ages 6 - 7.
This creative and fun series is part of an award-winning gun violence prevention initiative, Uncool: The Anti-Gun Violence Project, supported by the Nathan Cummings Foundation and held in partnership with Designmatters at the Art Center College of Design.
Each workshop offers a different approach to the theme and is taught by an Art Center faculty member. Children can learn to illustrate their own books, draw cartoons, create something special or design a poster. Space is limited, please call the library site for reservations.
