Seventeen Altadena Citizens Apply For 2013 Town Council Elections

Seventeen Altadena Citizens submitted applications for the 2013 Town Council Elections, which will be held Saturday, June 8, at multiple locations across Altadena.

Seven out of the eight open seats have more than one candidate, and the remaining Census Tract, 4603.02, has no candidate.

Candidates still have to be approved by the Election Committee and accepted by Town Council at its monthly meeting on May 21, 7:00 p.m., at the Altadena Community Center, 730 East Altadena Drive. Polling sites and hours, as well as a Pre-Election polling site will also be announced.

The official kick-off for campaigning will begin at the May 21st meeting with a "Candidate Forum" where each candidate will have the opportunity to speak for three minutes.

4601: Samir A. Sayegh, Gretchen B. Seager (incumbent).

4602: Anny H. Liu, William Malone, Evangelina Quintanar.

4603.01: Nicole Ford, Damon Lamont Hobdy, Richard Jerez.

4603.02: No Candidate.

4610: Carrie Eastman, Brent Mussen (incumbent).

4611: Amy Cienfuegos (incumbent), Michael John May-Devey, Dale Alan Parks.

4612: Jamie Bissner (incumbent), Bill Ward.

4613: Sylvia Vega, Stephen D. Zeider.
