Auditions will be held for Tina Howe's witty and engaging play, "Museum," on Tuesday, June 18, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Pasadena City College Little Theater in C-106.
Actors, technicians, and production assistants are needed for the play, which begins July 19 and runs through July 27.
"It's a very good play," said Whitney Rydbeck, PCC assistant professor and co-director of the play. "It's very funny, and it has a large cast, so everybody has a chance to get on stage."
"Museum" has a cast of 40 of the usual suspects at an art exhibit: guards, art lovers, foreigners, students, fellow artists, skeptics and, of course, the occasional lost soul. The play explores the effect of art on the viewer, as well as how our reactions to art speak about us as people.
Callbacks will be on Wednesday, June 19 if necessary, and rehearsals start June 24. Scripts are available in the Shatford Library.
