I want to tell you and your associates that I think you have given the community excellent and very necessary coverage on the Trayvon Martin tragedy . . . the murder itself, the farce of the trial, the background.
Long years ago, in the 1930's, I remember collecting signatures in my high school, petitioning Congress to pass an anti-lynching bill . . . a bill that was never passed. Perhaps, in a new formulation, it is still needed.
