"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
I took a moment to pray...
Just like David did that day...
"I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles." (Psalm 34:1-6)
All these fabulous promises I heard! God's WORD resonates inside of me-and it is superb! I study it thoroughly...call me a Biblical nerd! His kingdom, on earth, is what I live in... I resist the enemy's attacks, in Jesus' name, and he ALWAYS causes me to win!
I just finished two weeks of fasting and praying (fruits, vegetables, juice and water in the evenings only), and you should see what shape I'm in!
Praises be to God, for the spiritual dividends!
Get up and pray-to start your day!
Then end your day-the same way!
Down on your knees, giving Jesus thanks and praise!
Dear Pastor Glovioell,
You would know me if you saw me! We went to the same high school. Wow! Who knew you would be preaching the word of God to thousands!
Man, I wish I had followed in your same pathway. I have had the 'blues for 40 years." No, I am not depressed or anything. I have that 'do nothing' blues feeling. What do you think?
Dear Feeling Blue,
I have something for you! You say you're feeling blue? I haven't heard those words since the 70's-I know it's not like you! All my high school friends were enjoying life, through and through!
Jesus said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
Set your mind on God's WORD-that's the key!
Rebuke all those 'negative' spirits that are so hauntingly. You have power, in Jesus' name, to be set free!
