Florecita Farms Neighborhood Association Recognized

The City of Pasadena Human Services and Recreation Department spotlights neighborhood associations.  This time the Florecita Farms Neighborhood Association has been chosen.

In the early 90's, the Florecita Farms Neighborhood Association began as the Crestford/Florecita Neighborhood Watch Group. Established to take control back of their neighborhood from elements that were a threat, they grew into an association that encompassed over 140 households within City Council District 1.

A small but very well organized group, they continued to fight crime and came together on a more positive note through neighborhood activities such as their Annual Holiday Open House.

Meetings are held when needed and the boundaries consist of Florecita Road to the North, Altadena Drive to the South, Audobon Elementary School to the East and Arroyo Seco to the West.
