It's Scholarship Season . . .

With the new year in full swing, it is time, once again, to start applying for scholarships. If you are in high school than you know how costly college can be.

For seniors preparing for their first year of college, it can be confusing trying to figure out where all the money for your everyday and educational experiences will come from. Right next to FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), scholarships are your best friend!

Here are a few great scholarships to kickstart your search:

  • Jackie Robinson Foundation
  • The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship
  • United Negro College Fund
  • Gates Millennium Scholars

These scholarships are some of the "big names" in the scholarship world, but look into smaller scholarships as well!
