Black History Month Program to Include Homage, Games and Origins of Jazz

The Pasadena Senior Center will present a special program Monday, February 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in honor of Black History Month.

The event will include an homage to historic African Americans, their accomplishments and their impact on the world today; an entertaining Who Am I game that will test participants' sense of black history; and a discussion about the origins of jazz.

The admission price is $5 in advance, payable at the welcome desk or by calling (626) 795-4331. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $7 pending availability.

The program is sponsored by the Ebony Ladies Committee of the Pasadena Senior Center.
