Everyone is invited to the Easter Sunrise Services for the Pasadena/Altadena Communities to be held at Farnsworth Park, on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. The park's beautiful amphitheater is located at 568 East Mount Curve Avenue, (corner of Lake Avenue). You will not want to miss this dynamic service as we witness the sunrise on this glorious Easter Sunday.
The Easter message of victory will be proclaimed by Rev. Kerwin L. Manning, who serves as the "Head Coach"/Senior Pastor of Pasadena Church . . . The Church with no limits! Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Pastor Manning completed his undergraduate work at Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion. Currently, he serves as President of the Clergy Community Coalition. Pastor Manning and his wife Madelyn have been married for twenty one years and have two daughters, Madison and Morgan.
This annual event is being planned and organized by the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Pasadena/Altadena. The Sunrise Service is also supported by the Ecumenical Council of Pasadena/Altadena Area Churches and the Clergy Community Coalition of Pasadena. Together, these groups represent over seventy churches from many denominations and ethnicities.
The Sunrise Service is free and everyone is welcome. No one has to dress up, but should dress warmly.
Please join us for an inspirational Resurrection Service.
