No More Free Throws For Donald Sterling

Basketball is an exciting international game
Millions of fans know the players by name
It's bigger than the owners who write the checks
There's no tolerance for racism and disrespect

In basketball proud men stand tall
Yes, in height but that's not all
The player's dignity is not for sale
They're holding their breath and waiting to exhale

Sterling's slick girlfriend kept him jealous
By fraternizing with tall black fellas
She plotted to record hatred he couldn't recant
And gloated as he stormed into a racist rant

His hatred of Blacks became headline news
He only associated with the ones he could use
He didn't want Blacks at the games at all
To see his Clippers play basketball

His tirade insulted the fans and the players
Racism runs deep with many layers
Bigotry is something Donald Sterling chose
But this time there'll be no free throws

The Clipper's are strong men but felt disgraced
The emotional damage won't easily be erased
What was done in the dark came to the light
What good is a watchdog that doesn't bite

Fans will not turn their backs on the game
But to enrich Sterling more will enrich their shame
This time Mister Sterling you've been exposed
You have fouled out . . .

No More Free Throws!
