Key Dates for June 3 California Primary

Sacramento, CA – With five weeks until the June 3 statewide primary election in California, here is a roundup of key election-related dates.

April 24 – May 13:   State Voter Information Guide mailing period. VoterGuide.sos.ca.gov.

May 5:  Vote-by-mail ballot mailing begins.

May 19:  Voter registration deadline. RegisterToVote.ca.gov.

May 22:   Final pre-election campaign finance report.

May 27:  Last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot.

March 5 – June 3:   *Certain campaign finance reports required within 24 hours.

June 3:   Election Day.

June 3 – July 1:   County elections officials process ballots, certify results.

July 11:   Secretary of State compiles results, certifies election.
