On a bright Saturday morning seventy people, fresh from a trip to China, gathered together at Altadena's Metropolitan Baptist Church to plan their next trip. This time the destination is to the Holy Land (Israel).

The group started with a series of Day Trips to points across California, in 1998. It seems like a long time ago when the group chartered a luxury bus and traveled to Santa Barbara, The Hearst Castle, and throughout California.

One year after those California day vacations, they set out on their maiden voyage with an International destination.

In 1999, a group of forty-five set out on a series of trips to see the world, starting with China. Since then they have grown and the destinations have included the West African countries of Senegal and the historical slave holding Island of Goree. They have been to the Asian countries of Malaysia, Singapore,Thailand, Hong Kong, and Spain.

With all their world travels, the largest group so far was the one hundred and fifty who traveled with Fantasy Tours to the historical inauguration of President Barack Obama. Many in the group had fought during the Civil Rights struggles and suffered discrimination but were not about to miss that great day.
