Reverse Racism

I have a question that is often asked in the white community but never addressed elsewhere, especially out loud. I would like to know what the outcry would be from all the minority communities if there was an ad on TV for "The White Emmy Awards" or "The White Music Awards"?  I am completely serious, I hear the African-American and Hispanic community leaders complaining about discrimination, and rightfully so, I hear calls for equality, no race or sex discrimination. I have heard ads for the Hispanic Emmys, the Black Entertainment Awards, the Latin Grammys, etc. If this was as I said previously a compilation of white only awards there would be calls to picket, boycott, etc. So I ask, why is it OK to have those shows for minorities only? Please tell your readers why this is acceptable, now I don't begin to profess that I know how you feel about those shows and similarly segregated awards, shows, etc. But I would ask even if you do agree with me, please take the other side of the argument from the minority perspective of those who do not agree with me, maybe it's time for this dialogue to begin and put an end to the reverse discrimination.
