Women At Work is excited to bring their services to the Arcadia community and looking forward to getting settled quickly at their newest field office. In conjunction with the Arcadia Library and Arcadia Chamber, Women At Work will offer a workshop series entitled "Planning Your Employment Future."
Counselor Rosa Chen, who will be conducting the workshops, holds a Master's degree from Cal State Northridge and is fluent in Mandarin. She will meet with clients on a one-on-one basis at the Arcadia Chamber on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Her expertise in resume building will benefit clients who are struggling to find employment and good job leads.

The Older Worker: Looking for a Job as an Older Worker! Thursday, April 1 10:30 -11:30
Each workshop will offer information on job hunting and preparing for the job you are seeking. Counselor Chen will answer questions at the end of each workshop.

Women At Work Executive Director. "We are pleased to partner with the Arcadia Chamber to allow more direct services at their offices to clients and those looking for a job. Our goal is to provide services that help clients be better prepared for their job hunt."
Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Beth Costanza commented, "This is going to be a good partnership. We are looking forward to working with Women At Work."
This is the second field office for Women At Work. In addition to their center located in Pasadena, they provide services at a field office at La Pintoresca Library in Northwest Pasadena.
Career counseling, resume review and job preparation training sessions will be available at the Arcadia Chamber, 388 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia 91007.
For a limited time, services will be offered at a reduced rate as an inventive to encourage new clients. Since workshop space is limited, please sign up at the Front Desk in the Library. Clients will be seen on a "first-come-first served basis" according to the sign-up list.
