BLACK LIGHTENING STRIKES
The USATF National Youth Indoor Championships in New York saw the Black Lightning Track Club take the East Coast by storm with some amazing individual and team performances. Mila Woolforde, Justine Wilson & Jasmine Wilson were all crowned double National Champions in their respective age divisions as they brought home the gold in the 55m & 200m dash. CoCo Chanel Mitchell & Malachi Dawson finished 1st in the 400m, showing some serious strength and finishing as National Champions in two highly contested races.
Black Lightning also had amazing success in the Relays. The 13-14 Girls (Marley Scoggins, Justine Wilson, Alaya Graves-Hogains and DeAuna Louis) won both the 4x200 & the 4x400 and the 11-12 Girls (CoCo Chanel Mitchell, Morgan Woolforde, Keira Hamilton & Brielle Bell) shattered the meet record bringing three more National Championships back to California along with 15 total All-Americans.
