Rhythms of the Village Productions felt that there is a need for community artisans to come together for networking and the sharing of resources.
Rhythms has launched the Pasadena Cultural Arts and Crafts Fair. It is rhythms' wish that there be a central location where talents are showcased.
The fair will give local artisans and crafters the opportunity to display and sell their artworks and talents.
Rhythms' desire is to utilize the performing, visual and cultural arts and crafts to expand the knowledge of our culturally diverse communities.
The Pasadena Cultural Arts and Crafts Fair activities will include cultural arts workshops, food, and entertainment by local artists. Throughout the day, stage performances will be presented by local entertainers featuring singing, dancing, spoken word, poetry reading, drum circle and hands-on arts and crafts.
Pasadena Cultural Arts and Crafts Fair, located at the Jackie Robinson Center; 1020 North Fair Oaks, Pasadena, California, is co-sponsored by the City of Pasadena. It will be a bimonthly event held December 4, and again in February, April, and so on; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Booth spaces are available.
