Summer Camp

Children aged 6 through 10 explore the world of Kidspace during four weeks of Summer Camp.  Register online at

Week 1: Wacky Kitchen Science - Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29

Campers become kitchen scientists as they explore the fascinating world of food and fun.

Week 2: Super Bugs Theater - Monday, August 1 to Friday, August 5

Come face-to-face with real, live bugs as you research roles for a bug theater.

Week 3: Water, Water Everywhere - Monday, August 8 to Friday, August 12

Create works of art, perform science experiments and get really, really wet while learning all about water.

Week 4: Mission to Mars/Robotics - Monday, August 15 to Friday, August 19

Campers will discover the many worlds of outer space and learn about using robotics in space as Kidspace teams up with Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL).

Camp sessions are five days each.  Full days are $400 per week; half days are $250 per week. 

Before camp care from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and after camp care from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. is $30 per day or $50 per day for both before and after camp care.

Five days of before OR after care is $100, and five days of before AND after care is $150.   Kidspace members receive a 10% discount on camp fees. 

Camp spots will go quickly! So come out to Kidspace during Summer Camp Registration Day on May 28 to ensure your child’s spot is reserved!

About Kidspace:  Located on almost four acres in Pasadena, California, Kidspace Children’s Museum has more than 25 indoor hands-on exhibits, in addition to its outdoor spaces, programs and activities that are designed to encourage a child’s growth and development through exploration of the environment, investigation in science, and artistic expression.  Kidspace is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Kidspace is open seven days a week between Memorial and Labor Days).  Tickets for children and adults are $10; children under 12 months and members are free.  Kidspace is located at 480 N. Arroyo Boulevard, in Brookside Park, Pasadena, California, adjacent to the Rose Bowl.  Free parking is normally available in Rose Bowl Parking Lot I.
