Come join the local public officials at the Democrats of Pasadena Foothills Club Annual Picnic is Monday, July 4, from 1 p.m.  to 3 p.m. at the home of Annette Spence, 1180 E. Calaveras Street, Altadena, CA 91001.

Tickets to the Picnic are $25.00 and may be bought at the door.

As in years past, there will be grilled sausages and tri-tip to enjoy with the chili as well as an assortment of beverages, salads and desserts.

We are looking for speakers at the annual July 4 Political Picnic Oratory Contest.  In addition to the oratory contest, the picnic will include a Chili Cook-Off Contest.

The oratory contest is limited to eight speakers.  Each speaker will have three minutes and may speak on any topic they choose.  The speakers will be judged and prizes awarded.  Speakers may be disqualified if they go beyond their allotted time of three minutes.

We will take the first eight speakers.

The oratory contest is always interesting and informative.  I hope you will consider being one of our speakers.
