The program includes an award ceremony honoring local heroes and guest speaker Rebecca King Crews, co-Star of BET's new realty show "The Family Crews" and the wife of Terry Crews from "Everybody Hates Chris".
This fund raising event will be held at the historic Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena and includes a fine assortment of distinctive teas and delectable finger foods. Awards will be presented honoring local trailblazers including Ruth Hopkins, Managing Editor of the Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Journal for more than twenty years of community service.
PNHS mission is to revitalize and strengthen neighborhoods by preserving and expanding affordable housing for low and moderate income households.
Tickets to the tea can be purchased in advance for $65 before January 31, 2010 and for $75 each beginning February 1 online at www.pasadenanhs.org or in person at the PNHS office (1190 N. Fair Oaks Avenue, Suite 102, Pasadena, CA 91103). Tickets will not be available at the door.
