Community Invited to Help Plan Pasadena’s Transportation Future
Nov.17.2011 - Dec.02.2011

The future of driving, biking, walking and riding public transit in Pasadena is being shaped now.

The Pasadena Transportation Department invites the community to help by sharing thoughts at one of four upcoming workshops.

Pasadena is updating parts of its General Plan including the Mobility Element, the chapter that includes policies and objectives to help guide the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout Pasadena while maintaining access to transportation that serves the region.

The workshops will include interactive stations to explore and the opportunity for participants to ask questions and provide comments.

The workshop schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, Nov. 17 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Renaissance Plaza, Fair Oaks Community Room, 649 N. Fair Oaks Avenue, #203
  • Thursday, Dec. 1 (Spanish language workshop) 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Villa-Parke Community Center Auditorium, 363 E. Villa Street

For more information about the Mobility Element update visit www.cityofpasadena.net/generalplan or call (626) 744-7464.
