Build a Recycled Toy Workshop
Dec.10.2011 11.00AM - 02.00PM

Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Recycling is an important way for us to reduce the amount of solid waste we generate, thus reducing the negative impact we have on our environment. So let's have some fun and build some recycled toys such as building blocks, flying toys and dolls.

In addition, we will learn how recycling conserves our natural resources, saves landfill space, conserves energy, reduces water and air pollution, and decreases the green house gas emissions that cause global warming. Together, Reducing, Reusing, Recycling and buying recycled products make up a comprehensive waste and resource reduction strategy that benefits both our natural world and our economy.

The workshop fee is $7 per child and accompanying adult, in addition to regular museum admission.  NATURE EXCHANGE WORKSHOPS: AGES 6 to 10:   Registration is available online or on the day of the workshop at the Busy Bee Learning Store.
