Pasadena, CA, April 23, 2012 - On Sunday, May 6 at 3:30 pm in Caltech's Dabney Lounge, The Caltech Chamber Singers and Caltech Chamber Music Ensembles will present a joint concert. This is a rare event, as it will be the first time they have combined for a concert.
Featured music will be Madrigals of the Italian and English Renaissance by Josquin, Di Lasso, Weelkes, Morley, Bennett, as well as Scottish Songs for voices, violin, cello and piano, Op.108 by Beethoven. Others are Glinka, Trio Pathétique in d minor, for bassoon, clarinet and piano, Brahms, Two Songs for alto voice, viola and piano, Op. 91, and vocal quartets by Haydn, Schubert and Brahms.
