Between June 18 and July 19 (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), Vision 20/20 will provide the SKILLZ summer school program.
The program is intended for youth entering 9th and 10th grades, who have multiple F grades and may have disruptive behavior. In an environment of love, support and high expectations, youth will engage in life skills learning during morning sessions, and algebra and English classes during afternoon sessions.
We need YOU. Volunteers are critical to our success. Volunteers serve as class monitors and as caring adults who are present during lunch, breaks and room transitions. Volunteers are responsible for attendance records and over-all supervision. For more information, see the Journal's Business, Employment Section.
