Colossal squids are the largest invertebrates in the world, reaching lengths up to 50 feet; they are also rarely seen.
While we won't be diving to great depths in the Antarctic to find colossal squids, we will have more common squids and learn about these fascinating cephalopods.
Each child will dissect a squid, studying its anatomy and may get the chance to draw with squid ink.
Workshop fee is $7 per child and an accompanying adult in addition to regular museum admission.
See you Sunday, October 21, 2:00 p.m.
The NATURE EXCHANGE WORKSHOPS ARE FOR AGES 5 to 10. Registration is available online or on the day of the workshop at the Busy Bee Learning Store.
