The Pasadena Altadena Ivy Foundation (PAIF), in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s Eta Lambda Omega Chapter (ELO), is pleased to announce that over $30,000 was awarded to this year’s scholarship award recipients.
The scholarships were granted in the categories of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), social justice, most improved GPA and The Young African American Male to 18 students attending high schools in the Pasadena/Altadena/San Gabriel Valley area. This year’s recipients were exemplary in their commitment to academic achievement in what has been a very challenging year. In observance of COVID guidelines and restrictions we held a virtual celebration with the students and their families to acknowledge and congratulate the outstanding young women and men and to wish them well as they journey to their next chapter.
