Union Station Homeless Services to Host An Evening For The Station
Pasadena, CA – Join Union Station Homeless Services and Tonight Show keyboardist Wayne Linsey for an evening of music that makes a difference at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 27 at Noor restaurant in Pasadena's Paseo Colorado.
Linsey, a multi-talented instrumentalist, will perform an incredible night of music benefiting homeless men, women and children at the 13th annual An Evening for the Station jazz concert. Proceeds from the event will go to support Union Station Homeless Services, the San Gabriel Valley's largest and most comprehensive social service agency assisting homeless adults and families. In addition to music from Wayne Linsey, the evening will feature a raffle and wish list opportunities.
Linsey is a musician, producer, arranger, songwriter and artist. In a career spanning several decades, He has worked with music legends like Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder. Linsey plays keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. These talents were highlighted in his 2010 solo project, "A Song Without Words." Wayne has served as the Musical Director for P. Diddy and James Ingram and The Oprah Winfrey Show, to name a few. He has performed at the Grammys, the Billboard Music Awards, the BET Awards, the Essence Awards, and the NAACP Image Awards.
