Pasadena, CA — Pasadena residents and businesses are reminded that City Hall and many City services will be closed on Monday, January 21, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Pasadena Fire and Police Departments will continue to be staffed during the holidays for all patrol, jail, fire, paramedic and other emergency services. For any life-threatening emergencies, please remember to call 9-1-1.
Pasadena residents and businesses with any power emergencies should call the Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) Department at (626) 744-4673. For water-related emergencies call (626) 744-4138. PWP's customers can still pay their bills by phone at (626) 744-4005 or on the Web at www.PWPweb.com.
Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day during the week of January 21-26.
On January 21, the City's Area Rapid Transit System (ARTS) buses and Dial-A-Ride programs will be in full operation. All parking meters will be free.
All Pasadena Public Libraries will be closed Sunday, January 20 and Monday, January 21, with regular schedules resuming January 22.
All Community Centers operated by the City's Human Services and Recreation Department will be closed. All parks will be open for picnics, fun and play, but no site reservations are accepted for the holidays.
