EHA, located at 2061 N. Los Robles Avenue, #206, Pasadena, Ca. 91104, is a visual arts school that teaches children, teens and adults about sketching, painting, printmaking, and pottery. Specifically, the curriculum is based on Still Life, Portrait, Landscape, Classical Art, Modernism, Folk Art, Abstract Expressionism, Realism, Cubism and Conceptualism. The students use materials such as, oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, ink, pastels, charcoal, clay and mixed media.

EHA Founder and Director, Aja Steele Guy, who earned a BFA from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA, also attended Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA as well as PRATT Institute in Brooklyn.  She will share her passion, talent and training with local underprivileged children and teens, by offering free classes every Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

"These weekly classes will help young students gain a broader perspective of art and all that it has to offer, said Aja Steele Guy. "I opened Eye Heart Art, because I wanted to share the beauty of art with children who may be interested in art, but who would have otherwise not have had the opportunity to take these classes," continued Aja Steele Guy.

As an added bonus, Guy has called upon colleagues and celebrities friends from the entertainment industry to teach classes, and provide mentorship to students on an on-going base.

Eye Heart Art, founded in 2011, is a diverse program that is dedicated to teaching art from a perspective that, "art is for people from all walks of life." Named after the founder's, love for art, Eye Heart Art is making a difference in the lives of the children, whose art programs have been cut, due to lack of funding. Art is a manifestation of human creativity and Eye Heart Art is an accessible outlet where that creativity can be explored.
