Pasadena, CA -- Day One Pasadena will celebrate 25 years of building vibrant cities, promoting public health, and empowering youth at a 1980's-themed anniversary party on November 14.
The event will feature food, music, and entertainment including arcade games, makeovers, and a celebrity look-alike contest. Local civic and community leaders will showcase their talents in a series of performances highlighting Day One's leaders, accomplishments, and impact on the greater Pasadena community.
Day One is a community-based nonprofit organization that has delivered effective, high quality and culturally-sensitive public health education, intervention, policy development and environmental prevention programs for 25 years since it was conceived in 1987.
As the years progressed, the nonprofit has become a leader in youth advocacy and community health in San Gabriel Valley.
