The support will help fund important programs and services provided to people ages 50 and older who live in the greater Pasadena area and surrounding communities. The Pasadena Senior Center gears its programs toward two specific populations to address the full spectrum of senior issues and concerns: seniors who require basic needs assistance and seniors who seek personal growth and social interaction.
"We are deeply appreciative of the foundation's support of our delivery of meaningful services to seniors in our community," said Executive Director Akila Gibbs. "It is an honor to partner with the foundation and we look forward to sharing our achievements with them over the next year."
The S. Mark Taper Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of people's lives by supporting nonprofit organizations and their work in the communities they serve.
