Director, Cast of “The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek” Will Speak at Pasadena Senior Center

The short film, "The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek," was chosen as an official selection for the 2013 Red Rock Film Festival and Holly Shorts Film Festival and was screened last month at the Sundance Film Festival.

Vuk Mitrovic, the film's director, and the cast, including Michael Stahler and Katie Royer, will visit the Pasadena Senior Center Friday, March 21, at 1 p.m. when "The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek" is screened there. They will discuss the film and answer questions.

Set in 1936 and based on the award-winning play by Naomi Wallace, the coming-of-age film follows Dalton Chance, played by Stahler, and Pace Creagan, played by Royer, as rebellious youths who consider their town so dull that the only challenge is trying to outrun the 7:10 train.

The screening is open to anyone and is free of charge.
