Charity's Sixth Annual Fundraising Gala to be Held at Pasadena's Recently Re-Opened Twin Palms Restaurant
Pasadena, March 16, 2014 – On Friday, May 16th the most generous hearts of Pasadena will come together to celebrate one decade of giving to help individuals and families battling various mental disorders or dealing with stressful life situations. The Sixth Annual Rose City Center Gala will be held at Twin Palms Restaurant in Pasadena.
With a goal of $15,000, the 2014 gala will raise funds to support the organization's mission of providing psychoanalytic therapy to low-and moderate-income populations; and to train predoctoral and postdoctoral clinicians. Rose City Center is one of the few facilities of its kind that provides high quality, affordable mental health care in the San Gabriel Valley.
"This year's gala represents a major milestone for us at Rose City Center in Pasadena. For ten years, the San Gabriel Valley has turned out in impressive numbers to help raise money that gives hope to families who are desperately in need of support," said Gabrielle Taylor, Clinical Director of Rose City Center. "Our organization is very fortunate to have these supporters as our friends, and on May 16 we'll be thanking them once again for their continued generosity as we continue to raise money in support of this very important mission."
For 10 years, Rose City Center has been proud to train and support our extraordinary team of clinicians. Each year, our clinicians treat more than 200 clients through more than 4,000 outpatient visits. Due in large part to funds raised at the Gala, Rose City Center is able to continue to support the work of these outstanding clinicians and provide affordable mental health treatment to low- and moderate-income clients.
